There are very few places in the world where plastic does not help! Talk of uses, and you would find air credit cards coming in very handy for the regular traveler. Booking flight tickets to your destination gets all the more easier for you, as you do not need to carry cash with you all the time when you do so.

One of my friends recommended me to try the Internet to book my flight tickets to Capetown from New York City. I have never been a fan of Internet booking, and booked my tickets through the airline’s office. Good god I did that! In my next month’s credit card statement, I realize I had been offered a cash back on the tickets.

Better-still, I also had accumulated some sky miles on the flight. The concept of sky miles has always intrigued me for some time now. The airline staff explained to me, “Sir, Capetown and NYC are separated by thousand nautical miles. Every mile you fly, your credit card company would credit you with certain amount of sky miles!

Well, seemed like a swell deal for me, as I spend almost 8 of the 12 months traveling. Air credit cards just seem to have the best travel rewards for a guy like me. After some research, I also found that there are credit cards that give you travel rewards based on the hotels you book to stay with.

Now, how is that! That is not an air credit reward, something air credit cards are known for. Just as I was feeling it could be a scam, I found out it wasn’t! Credit card companies were offering this benefit to people for real.

Needless to say, the travel rewards offered by air credit cards are too many for me to resist. I am thinking now of shelving all my other credit cards, and purchase some air credit cards.
