Always ask about discounts. Some folks are too embarrassed to do this and miss out on mega savings. How do we think people who have plenty of money keep it… Hotel stays, auto rental, clothing and household items are great examples of discounts available when using certain cards. Do not wait for it to be offered, ask.
Combine discounts. Lots of people are unaware that many businesses will allow multiple discounts such as using a coupon even with they are already receiving a bonus. Purchase regular use items on sale, in bulk, and with a coupon and the savings will be astounding. In this case, saving money is making money.
